1. Why is G.MaeMarie a membership-only studio?
We operate differently because we prioritize the integrity of the creation process over the speed of the market. By limiting access to The Outseam, we are choosing to build for depth and substance rather than chasing influence or fleeting trends. This model allows us to focus entirely on the meticulous craftsmanship of each piece, ensuring that our studio remains a place of intention rather than a site of constant, forced consumption. The Outseam is a movement, a private space where we encourage one another to break out of the boxes we have been placed in and live fully inside of our own authenticity. We are small by design, committed to a model that values the long-term relationship between the woman, the garment, and the movement.
2. Why don't you have a public retail shop?
G.MaeMarie is a studio, not a retail brand. Traditional retail is designed to serve the cycle of constant consumption, the very rhythm we are rejecting. We don't have a public shop because we aren't here to chase trends or fill seasonal quotas. By keeping our studio intimate, we protect the space needed for thoughtful creation, ensuring that every piece we craft is designed to last a lifetime rather than a season.
3. How do you source your fabrics?
Our fabrics are selected for their character, weight, and history. We source internationally, prioritizing partnerships with artisans and suppliers whose stories resonate with our own values and uncompromising devotion to craftsmanship. We focus on high-quality fibers that drape, breathe, and evolve with the woman who wears them, ensuring every piece is built with lasting structural integrity.
4. What is The Outseam?
The Outseam is a movement rooted in the belief that true style is not about trends, but about the woman herself. It is a private space designed for the woman who is reclaiming her identity and redefining her aesthetic on her own terms. We aren't here to influence you to look like everyone else; we are here to celebrate your journey, your scars, and the unique energy you carry. It is a community of encouragement, giving you the permission to show up as the truest, most empowered version of yourself.
5. When can I see the collection?
Our inaugural collection will premiere on October 28, 2027. We chose this date to honor our founding legacy, as it combines the birthdates of the women who are the namesakes of G.MaeMarie. Rather than a public release, this collection will be available via pre-order for members of The Outseam. By focusing our production on those already building this journey with us, we are able to bypass the pressures of the mass market and stay true to our commitment to structural integrity, thoughtful creation, and less waste.
6. How does my membership influence the design process?
Because our members are an integral part of the movement, your voice matters. Within The Outseam, we share the evolution of our collections, offering members early insights into our design journey and opportunities to provide feedback on our core pieces, including our signature structured trousers, such as the "Omega" pant. We are building this narrative together, and your perspective is a valued part of that process.
7. Where do you currently ship?

As G.MaeMarie grows, we look forward to expanding our reach to additional regions.
8. How will my order be shipped?
We partner with trusted carriers, UPS or FedEx for domestic transit, and DHL Express for our international community, to ensure every piece is handled with the utmost care from our studio to your door.
9. Do you offer returns?
The Perfect Fit: We believe in the art of the perfect fit. If your garment requires minor professional tailoring, such as a hem or waist adjustment, we encourage you to utilize a local tailor. Please connect with our studio regarding your receipt; we are often able to support your investment through credits toward future purchases.
Returns: Because each piece is produced specifically for you on a made-to-order basis to minimize waste, we do not offer refunds. We are pleased to offer store credit for items returned in original, unworn, and unwashed condition within 14 days of delivery. This credit allows you to explore our studio’s future collections and limited "Vault" releases.
10. What if I have questions that aren't answered here?
We believe in open, intentional communication. For inquiries regarding our studio philosophy, please reach out to us at inquiries@gmaemarie.com.
